2018 Election – In Person Absentee (Early) Voting Begins

Voting Early is a good idea. Republicans need to get out and vote and early voting makes it easy to avoid the lines on election day. In person absentee voting is the closest thing South Carolina has to early voting. If you plan or think you might plan to be traveling on November 6 or if you are 65 or older, in the military, etc. you can vote early by casting your ballot at the Beaufort County Board of Elections office locations in Beaufort or Bluffton. In Jasper County you have to drive to ridgeland. You can also request an absentee ballot by mail.

Casting your early ballot in person avoids the difficulty with mailing your request for an absentee ballot, waiting to get the ballot by mail and then mailing the ballot in.
