Katie Sends Her Thanks

“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
– James 1:2-4

Family, Friends and Supporters,

I will never be able to thank you enough for the prayers, support, and votes you entrusted in me. But, I hope this email will help you understand how humbled and grateful I am for each and every one of you.

From before we announced for Congress, you stood with me and offered encouragement.

When only few believed in the possibility of winning the primary, you did and continued to grow our base. You helped us make history in securing the Republican nomination.

When the accident happened, you prayed for Jackie and me. Your prayers uplifted us and made the road to recovery possible.

And, in a hard-fought general election race in which we were outspent 3 to 1, you never wavered. You helped share our conservative message and earn the votes of over 140,000 neighbors.

“Let not your hearts be troubled.”
– John 14:1

As we read throughout the Good Word, we must not be troubled; but, rather, we must trust in the Lord always. While we may not understand the why of the election result, we must accept that it is His Will and trust that He is leading us on an even greater path to serve Him.

And, like I have my whole life, I will continue to ask God for his grace and blessings.

I must share that the best part of this campaign has been meeting so many of you, in person or through Facebook. Reading your inspirational messages, seeing your pictures (especially the ones with your cute children and grandchildren) is a true delight. Please keep them coming.

Please continue to stay in touch. Now that I have a little bit more time, I’m hoping to respond to even more messages!

I will forever keep each and every one of you in my prayers – thanking God always for you.

I ask you to please continue praying for me – for strength, guidance, and discernment, as 2020 is only a few years away!

With Love,

Katie Arrington
