Beaufort Area Republican Club

The Beaufort Area Republican Club was formed to cultivate an informed membership through interactive discussion of the political process and increase the effectiveness of it’s members in the cause of good government.  We have several family style events throughout the year such as oyster roasts, picnics and cookouts.  These are always a good way to get together with other Republicans, enjoy good food, talk about current events, and meet and talk with candidates and elected officials.  In addition, we work very closely with the Beaufort County and State Republican Parties as well as the other local Republican organizations to promote Republican values and support Republican candidates.  We help sponsor and operate the Northern Beaufort County Republican Headquarters during the election cycles, and hold candidate forums so the members can hear from, and meet candidates as well as current office holders.

Many BARC members volunteer to work at Republican Headquarters during the election cycle, serve as poll watchers, make calls on behalf of candidates, stuff envelopes, place campaign signs and many other important jobs.  Membership in BARC is a great social experience as well as a way you can make a difference in your city, county, state, and country.

Any Beaufort Area Republican is welcome to become a member and can do so by calling Jim Dickson at 843-838-3189 or email at  The annual dues is $25.00
